Cove Dining Hall is located in Cheko’nien House on Ring Road. It is open to the public and accepts all methods of payment.

May and June 7:30am - 2:00pm

July and August 7:30am - 7:00pm

Wristband Program

We facilitate summer groups at the Cove with a wristband program. By offering a centralized pre-paid food card at the cashier, groups can be identified with matching wristband and charged accordingly.

  • $16 per person per meal
  • The full amount of funds are loaded onto the card upon arrival
  • The funds are non-refundable
  • All items for purchase are a la carte, with people selecting their own items up to $16 each per meal
  • It is the responsibility of the group to remain within the set budget. Any overage can be paid with cash, credit or debit
  • Matching wristbands are provided to your group that correspond to the pre-paid food card at the till
  • Details of your group must be confirmed and paid three business days before arrival
  • If you are staying in Uvic accommodations, we will ensure the wristbands are ready at check-in

When you are ready to confirm your booking please provide the following to eat@uvic.ca:

  • Name of group
  • Contact information for the group (name, address, email, phone)
  • Number of attendees
  • Dates of breakfasts required
  • Dates of lunches required
  • Dates of dinners required
  • Check in day for accommodations to ensure we deliver the wristbands

Please contact Degrees Catering for caterered meals outside the Cove Dinng hall.
