ReQuest service

Are you a UVic faculty member or instructor? Request library items online and we'll send them to you!

How does ReQuest work?

We deliver books, chapters, articles and media from the UVic Libraries catalogue directly to your department or office on campus.

Physical items (including videos) will be signed out from the library and delivered to you. Videos are provided to faculty for 3-week loans to preview or screen in class.
Electronic or scanned materials will be emailed to you.
The ReQuest service is available to faculty members and instructors.

To place a ReQuest

Find your item using Library Search and sign in to place a ReQuest. For detailed instructions, see the ReQuest help page.

How long will a ReQuest take?

We deliver ReQuests from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We aim to deliver your materials within two business days if possible
