Corey Davis

Corey Davis is the Digital Preservation Librarian at the University of Victoria, bringing over 15 years of experience in academic libraries. He holds a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Greek and Roman Studies from the University of Victoria. ​

In his current role, Corey leads the development of policies and strategies to ensure the long-term preservation of digital collections. He collaborates on advancing the Libraries' technological infrastructure and advises faculty, researchers, and students on digital preservation matters. ​

Corey is actively involved in national preservation efforts, including as a founding member of the Canadian Association of Research Libraries' Digital Preservation Working Group.His work emphasizes collaborative infrastructure development to safeguard digital content for future generations.
