Campus tour
Experience UVic’s stunning park-like campus on a guided tour led by a current student. Nestled on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, surrounded by the Salish Sea, forest and mountains, our campus offers an unforgettable setting for learning and living. Discover where students study, live and connect in one of the world’s best small cities.
Free parking on campus
Enjoy free parking during USA Preview Days. As an attendee, you’ll receive a complimentary parking code in your confirmation email, making it easy to focus on exploring campus without worrying about parking fees.
Choose from various parking lots on campus, offering daily and hourly rates. For the closest access to the Jamie Cassels Centre, park in Lot #2 or #3 (McKenzie Avenue parkade).
Public transit
Take public transit directly from downtown Victoria to the UVic campus on bus routes 4, 14 or 15. The journey takes 20–30 minutes. Driving yourself from downtown Victoria to the campus takes about 15 minutes.
Ferry and airport connections
- The Clipper (Seattle–Victoria) and Black Ball (Port Angeles–Victoria) ferry terminals are located downtown.
- The BC Ferries Swartz Bay ferry terminal (Vancouver–Victoria) and Victoria International Airport are located in Sidney, which is a 35-45 minute drive from downtown Victoria and the UVic campus.
