Generative AI guidelines for research: Call for feedback

The Office of the Vice-President Research and Innovation (OVPRI) have created a draft set of guidelines for the use of generative AI in research. These guidelines aim to provide high-level guidance on the use of these tools in a research context and to highlight some of the associated risks.

This guidance was developed internally by OVPRI in consultation with colleagues at UVic Libraries, University Systems, and an interdisciplinary group of faculty with relevant expertise.

We would greatly appreciate feedback on the guidelines from the UVic research community. Please share any thoughts you may have by March 20th.
