Mathematics (MSc)
In this program, you’ll pursue mathematics research in the broad areas of applied, discrete, or pure math.
Your education will be supplemented by coursework and regular seminars. The sum of your research will be a thesis that will advance the field of mathematics. You’ll defend this final work in an oral examination that will prove your mastery of mathematics.

Find a supervisor
All graduate students have a faculty member who serves as their academic supervisor. You do not need to find your own supervisor. You will be assigned one when you are accepted into the program.
It may improve your chances of being accepted to contact potential supervisors in advance to introduce yourself, explain your interests and determine whether they will be accepting new students in the near future.
To find a supervisor, review the faculty contacts. When you have found a faculty member whose research complements your own, contact them by email.
